NSW: Death ruled to be of natural causes
SYDNEY, Aug 22 AAP - A NSW man police initially believed may have been murdered, diedof natural causes, police said today.
Officers were yesterday called to a house in Hall Street, Willow Tree, south of Tamworth,after the body of the 63-year-old was discovered by a friend.
The man, who had lived alone and had not been seen for a couple of weeks, had sufferedhead injuries.
A police spokesman today said the death was initially treated as suspicious, but apost-mortem examination had since revealed this was not the case.
Although the police spokesman could not confirm the cause of death, he said the headinjuries suffered may have been consistent with trauma sustained during a fall.
The man's name has not been released.
