Fed: Gillard says she won't speculate on further stimulus

Deputy Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD says she won't be drawn in on speculation the federal
government's planning another economic stimulus package.

The Australian reports Treasury could be preparing a massive new round of fiscal stimulus
in next month's federal budget.

Ms GILLARD has told the ABC .. the government is still rolling out its 42 billion dollar
nation building and jobs plan.

She says she won't speculate on the budget .. but adds the government stands ready
to act if further stimulus packages are needed after the roll out is complete.
